Be Kind To Yourself
One of the most impactful lessons that I have learned over the past few years has been to be kind to myself. Now, Some people may still argue that I am a little hard on myself, but I have come a long way. And that is what it is all about: Progress - Not perfection.
Take a few minutes today to reflect to yourself on this question “Have I been being kind to myself lately?” Have you been making sure that your needs have been met lately? Look at all aspects of your life, including a look at if you have been caring for yourself physically (diet, exercise, recovery), Psychologically (mentally - Self Talk, meditation habits, being present in the moment), and your Social well-being (Relationships, Service roles, Mentors & Mentees).
I say it all the time; “Be kind to yourself”. Because, when the chaos of life comes into our field of awareness, self-care is often the first thing to be neglected.
